Krrish is one of the most popular Indian films of all time, which has become an international hit. The movie was released in 2003, and was directed by Rakesh Roshan. Krrish stars Aamir Khan as Dr.Vikram Bhatt who develops a serum that has the potential to give virtually unlimited power to any human being on earth. As you can imagine, things don’t go so smoothly after this discovery is made public knowledge. Krrish also stars Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. Krrish is a 2013 Indian action film directed by David Dhawan and produced by Rakesh Roshan. The film is based on the Indian comic book character of the same name, created by Rajinder Singh Bedi. It was released on 14 November 2013. The film retells the story of a man who turns a superhero to fight against a villain who is trying to destroy the world with an evil plan. It was commercially successful at the box office, grossing ₹1 billion (US$15 million). This film is the second installment in the superhero film series, following the 2000 film "Koi... Mil Gaya", which was also directed by David Dhawan, and was produced by Rakesh Roshan. The first installment of this series was released in India on Diwali day of 2001. Hrithik Roshan appears as Rohit Mehra / Krrish who has newly acquired his superpower due to an experiment performed on him by his late father Dr. Vaseem Bhatt (Sanjay Khan). Priyanka Chopra plays Nisha Katta, the love interest of Rohit/Krrish. The film is adapted from the comic of same name created by Rajinder Singh Bedi and is written by Namrata Rao and Rakesh Roshan. About the film, Rakesh Roshan said: "[The film's story is] about a man who loses his father and later acquires superpowers for humanity. The characters in the film include a villain, a hero and a love interest." The movie’s soundtrack consists of 8 songs composed by Pritam. The song "Gulaab" is sung by Raghav, and "Koi Mil Gaya" is composed and sung by Harshdeep Kaur. The song "Aa Jhalla" is sung by Shaan, and "Dhoom 3", composed and sung by Pritam, is the film's theme song. The album was a critical success as well as a commercial success. It became one of the best-selling albums of 2013 with over 2 lakh copies sold in India alone.
